We all know how much I love a candle and, even as we enter into the Spring and Summer, I am still very much enjoying lighting a candle every evening once my working day has ended and it's time to wind down. Last year I wrote a blog post about some of my favourite vegan and cruelty free candles and since then I have also discovered another new favourite by Join.
Join create luxury handcrafted home fragrance products in small batches from their studio in London. All of their candles are created with natural and carbon neutral soy wax and the finest essential oils. Their products are also importantly completely vegan friendly, cruelty free and eco friendly. I personally love supporting small independent businesses like this and I think when products like this are handcrafted you can really feel the love and passion that has gone into creating it.
I particularly like the style of these candles which are packaged in amber apothecary style glass and recycled kraft gift boxes. They have a very minimal and contemporary feel to them which sits perfectly in my home and this one has looked so pretty perched on my coffee table. I'm really taking my time in using it because I know i'll really miss it once i've used it up!
Aside from all the other plus points to these candles, one thing which has really impressed me is the fragrance and lasting aroma they create. I went for the 'Low Tide' candle which is a beautiful blend of chamomile and patchouli and i'm so glad I did because this is a seriously relaxing and calming fragrance. I know a candle is really good when my husband comments on the aroma. He even went as far as to describe this scent as 'amazing' which, for a man, is quite something! But I think the fact that the scent was so noticeable to him is just a further testament to the high quality of these candles.

There are also a number of different scents to pick from and all of which have been inspired by Cornwall where the creator sisters grew up and regularly take inspiration from.
