My Month In Photos | June 2018

Is it just me or are these 'My Month In Photos' posts just coming round so quick!? Time is absolutely whizzing by at the moment and I keep thinking that I can't believe we're already half way through 2018. It only feels like last week when I was sitting down to contemplate my new year goals for this year. Where is the time going!??? Anyway, I definitely think the busier you are the faster time goes and this month has felt extremely busy so it makes sense that it has flown by.

Spring & Summer Style Picks | Fashion

I very rarely, if ever, post any kind of fashion or style related posts because, if I'm being honest, it's not really my area of expertise! I have however really enjoyed shopping for Spring and Summer this year and in particular my holidays. I think as plant prints seem to be hugely popular in 2018 I've been drawn to quite a few different pieces and well lets just say that I'm really feeling this look!

Mykonos | Travel

Ever since we visited Santorini last Summer I had been thinking about going to visit the island of Mykonos as so many people recommended it as an equally amazing, if not better, holiday destination.   Last week we were lucky enough to spend a week on this beautiful island and I wanted to put together all of the highlights in one place and offer up some good recommendations for places to see, things to do and where you can find decent vegan food.

Kew Gardens | Plants

A couple of weeks ago I took my Mum to Kew Gardens for a day out for her birthday. Neither of us had ever been to Kew before (aside from the Christmas Lights show) and I was so looking forward to exploring the gardens in the sunshine and looking at all the plants on display. As my obsession with house plants grows so does my enthusiasm for getting out and about and seeing plant displays, from garden centres to flower markets, and even just other peoples photos on Instagram - I'm hooked!

My Summer Holiday Skincare Essentials | Vegan & Cruelty Free

Having already been on two amazing Summer holidays this year  I thought it was time I shared with you all my favourite 'go to' vegan and cruelty free beauty essentials which I always ensure I take away with me. I've already posted a Prepping My Skin For Summer post which includes some essential tips for ensuring your skin is in tip top condition for sun exposure. But now it's time to take a look at how I care for my skin when I'm away on holiday and spending lots of time in the sun.

Growing My Own Vegetables | Lifestyle

At the start of this year, and when I was thinking about some goals for the year ahead, I knew that I wanted to try my hand at growing my own vegetables. This is something I've thought about for quite a while but as a complete novice I didn't really know where to start. This meant lots of research and thinking about how and where I wanted to grow them in my garden.

Broadway Vegan Market | London

The last time I'd been to Broadway Market was around three years ago and before their separate Vegan Market even existed. I remember back then it was still really good for vegan food and for a long time now I have been really keen to make a return visit to check out this new addition spin off market. Last weekend presented the perfect sunny Saturday with no plans, so off we went in search of vegan comfort food!

Petersham Nurseries | Plants

It's no surprise to any of my regular readers and followers that one of my favourite past times is browsing garden centres and plant shops. My house plant collection is now at around the fifty mark which is a real testament to my ever growing passion for plants! When I have a little more time on my hands I really enjoy venturing off to new plant shops further afield and one place which has been on my 'to see' list for quite a while now is Petersham Nurseries in Richmond, London. Thankfully the May Bank Holiday Monday presented itself as the perfect day to go off exploring with my camera.
