My Month In Photos | July 2018

July seems to have passed me by in one super hot and sticky heatwave, which for the most part I have spent complaining about! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a bit of sunshine and good weather but the continued and relentless heat really got to me to month. I did try to get out and make the most of it where I could and when I had the energy to but, and if I'm being honest, it's been a struggle! Thankfully as I'm putting together this post the heatwave is no more and I'm finally feeling a bit more like myself again. It's actually rained the last couple of days which has felt like such a relief. I don't think I've ever talked about the weather so much in my entire life! 

Vegan Bloggers In Glasgow | Travel

We all know how much I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, especially when there are an abundance of vegan cafes and restaurants to try out too. Glasgow has been on my radar for quite a long time now as being a hotspot for vegans and as an ideal city break destination within the UK. It's also long been known as the vegan capital of the UK so it was only right I went to check it out! When I suggested a little foodie getaway to fellow vegan blogger friends Jess and Anjuli we all agreed it would make a fantastic trip and, as somewhere none of us had been before, we were excited by the prospect of a little adventure away! 

Tropic Haircare | Vegan & Cruelty Free | AD

When I first heard that one of my favourite skincare brands, Tropic were bringing out a new hair care range I was so excited to see what they had come up with! Having always been so impressed with their skincare and body care products I was really keen to get my hands on the new hair care range and try it out for myself. I love trying out new hair care products as it's a part of my routine that I am often happy to change up regularly as I think my hair really benefits from using different products. I have quite fine hair which I colour fairly regularly so it is prone to feeling dry and dehydrated at times and I'm therefore always keen to find products which will help to really nourish and hydrate my hair and keep it looking healthy.  

Hitchin Lavender

One place I knew I wanted to visit this Summer was Hitchin Lavender. I remember this time last year seeing so many gorgeous photos from other peoples visits and it really stuck itself in my mind as a great Summer's day out. Last Summer I was in the depths of moving house and that kind of took over, but this year life has thankfully slowed down and it's been so nice having time to explore and enjoy more of life's simple pleasures.

Lone Wolves Organics | Essex

Lately I feel like I spend so much time exploring what London has to offer on the vegan scene that I tend to forget about little old Essex where I live. I mean lets face it, London does have a LOT to offer and it also seems to be constantly changing and evolving with new openings and menu's each week which keeps me so busy. But that isn't to say that exciting things aren't happening out in the countryside too! 

CIRCUS Vegan Menu Launch | Covent Garden

Last week I was invited along to cabaret restaurant Circus in Covent Garden for the launch of their brand new Vegan Tasting Menu. Prior to this invite I hadn't heard of this place before and I was quite excited by the prospect of an evening of entertainment in the heart of London's West End, and lots of vegan food of course! Having never been to a cabaret or performance restaurant before I had no idea what to expect but I was really looking forward to attending and doing something I wouldn't ordinarily do.

We all know by now how much I love discovering new vegan friendly and cruelty free beauty brands and I am always happy to work with brands whose ethics are in line with my own. So when the natural hair and body care brand Kind Natured reached out to me to collaborate on reviewing their products I was of course more than happy to oblige!
