VBites Vegan Cafe & Shop

Being in Brighton last weekend for VegFest it was the ideal opportunity to try out VBites Vegan Cafe & Shop as we were in the area. We arrived in Brighton an hour before the doors for VegFest opened and felt pretty hungry after our 2 hour drive down from Essex so we headed to VBites for some breakfast. It also saved us from some horrendously cold and windy weather and was the perfect place to warm up and reenergise ourselves for the show.

It was great to see such a vast menu at VBites and the breakfast options all sounded amazing. As we were feeling pretty hungry we dived straight in for the full english!

The all day menu also looked so good and has made me want to visit again. There is just so much choice at this place! I'm so envious of everyone who lives in Brighton and has this on their doorstep!

It was also pretty cool to see that different classes and therapies take place in the same building above VBites such as Yoga. I can just imagine this being the perfect place to catch up with friends, grab a bite to eat and take part in some exercise whilst you're there!

As if that wasn't already enough, they also have their own mini supermarket inside too selling some well known vegan foods, drinks and some on the go lunch options. I really wish I had somewhere like this near to where I live. I'm pretty sure i'd be in there every day!

The vegan cakes on display all looked delicious! Unfortunately I had to drag myself away from trying one as I knew we were about to embark on an eating mission at VegFest but I will definitely be back to try one of these soon.

Our vegan fry up was pretty immense! I have never tried vegan bacon rashers before and they were definitely an interesting taste. My favourite part of this breakfast was the tarragon mushrooms on toast - simply delicious!

Although it was a fleeting visit we really enjoyed our first VBites experience and i'm already looking forward to returning. Brighton is an exciting place for vegetarians and vegans and from what I understand there is a great deal of choice there for eating out.

I'm already planning a little weekend away to Brighton soon so that I can explore the area further and hopefully it'll be nicer weather so we can enjoy everything that this stylish seaside town has to offer.
