The Pip Box

I'm really excited to be sharing with you all the newest cruelty free beauty box on the block - The Pip Box! This is a subscription box which delivers five cruelty free beauty products to your front door every month from only £13.50 + p & p. And guess what!? I've been lucky enough to try one out and report back to all of you my findings!

I really love coming into contact with brands who share my passion for living a cruelty free lifestyle and The Pip Box are exactly that. Their mission is to end cosmetic testing on animals and they hope to achieve this through selling a box which promotes compassion towards animals and better choices when it comes to the cosmetics we use. They also donate 50p from every box sale to an animal friendly charity which they hope will help to end cosmetic testing on animals once and for all.

Each box tends to have a retail value of approx £35 so they really are great value for money. There's also no contract involved so you're free to subscribe and unsubscribe at any time without any issues.

When my box arrived I couldn't wait to dive in to find out what was inside! One of the main draws for me and subscription boxes is always the element of surprise and of course discovering new products and brands.

Inside The Box

I was really impressed to find this full size body oil included in the box which retails at £28. What a treat! These body oils are really versatile and can be enjoyed in different ways either by adding a small amount to your bath water or as a post bath/shower moisturiser. They can also be used as part of a massage. The essential oils used within this bottle are particularly helpful for mental fatigue, depression or simply refreshing a tired mind. I personally love the idea of a product which can be beneficial for both my mind and body and I can't wait to add this into my regular skincare routine.

Another product by the Freya Luna brand included within this Pip Box was this handy little travel tin of lavender beauty balm. At first I thought this was a lip balm but on further inspection I found out that it's actually a multi-purpose item which can be used in so many different ways from moisturising your hands, to taming down eye brows or even as a makeup primer. Who knew!? I absolutely love anything fragranced with lavender and find it to be a really relaxing smell which promotes calmness within me. This is the perfect size for your handbag and for when you travel so I already know that this will come in a lot of use. I travel quite a lot so I am always happy to find smaller travel size cosmetics included within these boxes as it's not always easy to find cruelty free versions in the high street shops. This Argan & Vanilla Clarifying Shampoo by PHB is made with natural ingredients meaning it has a really gentle formula which is kinder to your scalp, skin and hair. It's free from parabens, SLS and harmful chemicals as well as being vegan friendly. This will definitely be coming away with me on my next trip!

I was over the moon to find this brow and lash brush included in this box as my current one had just broken on me and I was well overdue an upgrade. This arrived just at the right time and it's such a great quality product I know it will last the distance. I also wasn't previously aware that PHB made vegan friendly makeup brushes so this was a nice surprise!

Tisserand is a completely new brand to me and i'm really pleased to have discovered them through this box as I am already a little obsessed with this Aromatherapy Roller Ball product. Ever since the box arrived I have been picking this up and rolling it across my wrists and enjoying its zesty fragrance. As its name would suggest it's designed to help to lift your spirits and give you a burst of energy and whenever I smell the scent I really do find it quite awakening. This is another product I shall be keeping close to hand in my handbag!

I really loved the selection of goodies inside this box and found them all to be of a high quality. It's also nice to receive products that perhaps I wouldn't ordinarily think about buying myself, like the aromatherapy roller ball, but I know I will get a lot of enjoyment from using.

All of the products featured within this months box are vegan friendly but The Pip Box cannot guarantee that all of their products and brands featured will always be vegan. They can however assure that products will always be completely cruelty free and not tested on animals.

If you like the look of this box and fancy trying it out for yourself then head over to The Pip Box and make use of a special 10% discount code for my readers! Just enter VNICELIFE at the checkout to get money off your order.
