With Valentines Day just around the corner I thought I would share with you my top picks from Lush's new Valentines 2017 releases. As always I really look forward to Lush's seasonal products and this time I really couldn't wait to get my hands on some of their loved up and romantic offerings!
All of the products I picked up are vegan friendly and, like all of Lush's products, they're completely cruelty free. They were also all totally new to me, which made using them even more exciting and enjoyable.
Lover Lamp Bath Bomb
From the moment I set eyes on Lover Lamp I knew it would be a favourite of mine. What could be more Valentines-esq than red hearts!?! I love it's simple yet pretty look and, having managed to avoid any spoilers, I was looking forward to seeing what happened when I plonked it into my bath tub.
This bath bomb really was everything I was hoping it would be! The orange and vanilla fragrance was really lovely and not too over powering (just how I like it). It turned my bath water a milky white colour and it was beautifully moisturising on my skin. This bath bomb also definitely has the romantic factor as it releases cocoa butter red hearts which float on the water along with lots of tiny little red hearts which slowly dissolve away. It's pure perfection! And if you're looking to romance someone this is the way to do it.

Cupid Bath Bomb
I really loved the look of this bath bomb and I was pretty sure that it wouldn't disappoint. It's pink, it's heart shaped and it smells so sweet and floral! What's not to love!?
When it came to using Cupid I was even more bowed over by it's elegant display...
This bath bomb looks so incredibly cute as it fizzes around in the water maintaining its heart shape until the very end. I was also a big fan of how it transformed my bath water into a pastel pink paradise! At only £2.95 this one's also a bargain. It's too good to giveaway so i'd recommend saving it for your very own Galentines Day treat to yourself!

Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar
I can't quite believe it's taken me this long to get around to trying the infamous Unicorn Horn bubble bar but, and if i'm being honest, I have only recently became a bubble bar convert so I do have my reasons for being so late to this party. Anyhow, despite not really understanding what a unicorns horn has to do with Valentines Day, this product is quintessentially Lush. It's bright, it's sparkly and it's very colourful.
This bubble bar worked a dream in creating lots of fluffy bubbles in my bath and it also worked pretty well at adding some additional pink and purple colour to my water. It has a really relaxing lavender aroma to it making it ideal for a pre bed time soak. So relaxing, so pretty and so Lush.

Love Struck Bubble Bar
I thought I was beginning to get a little annoyed by the ever increasing amount of emoji apparel in the shops lately, but clearly I was very wrong. How could I resist popping this little face into my basket!?
I'm not going to lie, I did find Mr Love Struck a little underwhelming and more difficult to use. The Unicorn Horn is the perfect shape to hold underneath your tap of running water, whereas this one is a little more tricky, especially if, like me on this occasion, you don't have a mixer tap. It turned into a battle not to burn my fingers! On top of that I also think this one is more tricky not to use all up in one go as you're getting the whole product wet, whereas with the Unicorn Horn I found it much easier to get more uses out of it, making it better value for money. I've also never really been keen on Lush products which turn my water yellow/gold which this one does.

Two Hearts Beating As One Bath Melt
I've been a fan of Lush's bath melts / oils for some time now and i've never tried one which has disappointed me. They're a great, less dramatic, alternative to bath bombs and I for one always find them to be super relaxing and luxurious. I absolutely loved the look of this melt and think it's a clever little design which also helps you to get more for your money by easily splitting into two halves.
I decided to try both parts at the same time as I was very curious to see how it would play out in my water and I was quite amazed by what unfolded before me...
This bath melt is glorious. And also a little psychedelic! I loved the colours it created and how it looked like ink had been splattered all over the water. It really was quite mesmerising! And way more than I was expecting. I found the ylang ylang aroma so relaxing and this is the ideal bath time treat after a long day as it really does relax you to the point of sleepiness.

Love Spell Massage Bar
I picked up this massage bar thinking it would motivate my husband to give me a back massage that lasts longer than a couple of minutes! It's now that I regret not booking us onto that couples massage course I had my eye on last year as I am sure that would have helped a hell of a lot. Anyway, and as it stands, we still haven't got around to testing this out but i'm sure my persistence will pay off sometime soon! I still wanted to include the massage bar within this review post as I think this is the perfect product to perhaps enjoy with your loved one this Valentines Day. It's something you can both enjoy, if you're willing to take turns of course!
I think all of these products would make perfect gifts for Valentines Day but even better as a treat to yourself. After all, what could be better than a little self love this Valentines Day!? It's something I'm trying to practice more of this year and some home pampering is the perfect way to be kind to yourself.
Have you tried anything from Lush's Valentines range this year?
I have all of these except the bath melt and I love them all! Haven't got around to using the emoji bar yet as it's so cute I want to save it! Everything else is gorgeous though, the range this year is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHello, I am Theresa Williams After being in relationship with Anderson for years, he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to my friend and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that never believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I mailed the spell caster, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4 pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem. email: drogunduspellcaster@gmail.com you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or any other Case.

Lover Lamp is SO good isn't it? It's my favourite LUSH bath bomb ever. I love the way it makes the water milky, and the hearts it releases are so cute!
