Saturated Colour Lip Vinyl

I was recently sent a lovely Lip Vinyl from Saturated Colour which i've been really looking forward to reviewing and sharing with you all. Lip products by Saturated Colour are 100% cruelty free and most are also vegan friendly which makes them a great choice if you're looking to try out a new makeup brand.

I don't know about you but I am always buying new lipsticks and lip glosses as I wear something on my lips every day. I'm actually a little bit addicted to the feeling of glossed lips! My lip wear collection is getting pretty big now but i'm always looking to try new brands particularly if they are both cruelty free and vegan.

Saturated Colour offer ten different shades of their Lip Vinyl which have been designed to suit numerous different skin tones. It is in essence a liquid lipstick which has a high gloss finish making it perfect for anyone who likes their lip gloss to have a bit more substance. Lip Vinyl can provide a bold glossy look or, if you prefer to wear your makeup more subtle, just dab it on gently and blend out. It also works perfectly with their range of LipSSticks to provide a more voluptuous depth to your lip shade.

The first thing I noticed about the Lip Vinyl is just how pigmented it is. I was sent the 'Birthday Suit' shade which is perfect for me as I generally wear quite neutral and nude shades on my lips. Most lip glosses I wear tend to be quite a translucent colour which often doesn't really show up too well. As soon as I put one coat of this Lip Vinyl on my lips the colour was really noticeable and it definitely made a nice change to my usual look.

The other thing I noticed immediately was just how substantial this lip product is. Normally when I wear any glossy lip products they usually wear off pretty quickly and i'm soon back to having dry lips again. To my pleasant surprise this product stays firmly in place considerably longer than anything i've used in the past. It also feels great on your lips!

I wore this Lip Vinyl last weekend and I just so happened to get caught out in the rain on a dog walk. I was outside battling the elements for a good hour before I decided to take this selfie and I was amazed to see that the Lip Vinyl was still visibly present. I'm not even sure if some of the lipsticks I use can boast this much longevity! It had admittedly lost some of its gloss after a few hours and from when I first applied it in the morning, but the overall colour remained.

I've been really impressed with this product and I will definitely be looking to buy again in future. I currently have my eye on the 'Passionate Peach' shade which I think is another one that would really suit me so i've added it to my current wish list (which seems to be never ending at the moment!). If I had a special event coming up which warranted some bright lips I think 'Magnetic Melon' would be the perfect choice. It looks beautifully vibrant with hints of coral which I absolutely love.

Each Lip Vinyl retails at £7.00 which I think is reasonable considering the quality of the product. They also have a deal on at the moment where you can buy a matching pair of LipSStick & Lip Vinyl for £9.00 as part of their 'Perfect Partners' deal which is a really great value. If you spend more than £10.00 you also receive a free mini product with your purchase and 10% off your first order when you sign up to their website.

Have you tried a Saturated Colour Lip Vinyl or LipSStick yet?
* This product was sent to me free of charge.
