My Month In Photos | October 2018

October is always my favourite month of the year and this year has been no different! I love it when the weather gets colder and the leaves start to turn brown. Everything suddenly becomes so colourful and beautiful outside! I get so excited for all of the Halloween and Autumnal homeware to hit the shops and decorating my home for this season is one of my favourite activities. It also feels like the calm before the storm of Christmas and I've promised myself that I'm not going to get sucked into anything Christmas related until at least mid November. I like to relish this time of year and everything that comes with it. Its an opportunity to slow down, appreciate the little things and give life a little refresh.

So here's what my month has looked like in the photos...

I feel like there have been more new vegan food releases this month than ever before, it's actually felt like a struggle to keep up! But I finally got around to trying some new things including the Sainsbury's katsu curry which was amazing.

The vegan magnums were pretty good too!

And the new Waitrose range has really impressed me, particularly that ravioli.

Bill's launched a new vegan dish which I was lucky enough to go and review

I also finally made a well overdue visit to The Spread Eagle to try out their Club Mexicana menu.
I'm already excited for a return visit!

Andy & I went back to one of our old favourites for lunch, the fabulous Cradle in Sudbury.
Their food is just exquisite.

I got to work with PG Tips on a fun campaign creating my ultimate dairy free breakfast.
I'd definitely recommend trying out their 'Perfect With Dairy Free' tea bags!

I've loved dressing my home for Autumn this month which has
of course involved multiple trips to HomeSense

I'm so happy with how cosy and colourful my living room is looking.
And I've been getting through a lot of pumpkin spice candles!

It wouldn't be October without lots of pumpkin fun too.

Our favourite place to go pumpkin picking is Cammas Hall in Essex.
They always put on such a beautiful display!

I signed myself up for an Autumn Wreath Making workshop with Kinship Creative
which was so much fun and really got my creative juices flowing again.

I was so happy with how my Autumn wreath turned out!

I published my Dermalogica Rapid Reveal Peel diary on the blog.
I've absolutely loved trying this facial peel out and my face is looking glowing!

I got away for a few days to stay with my Mum in Eastbourne and got to visit
another amazing pumpkin patch at Sharnfold Farm Shop

The whole time I was away it literally felt like Summer!
Blue skies and sunshine the whole time.

I also launched this years CFV Secret Santa.
This was so much fun last year and I'm so happy to be running it again!

I've tried to avoid all the Christmas stuff in the shops but couldn't resist paying
Perrywoods a visit to check out their Christmas shop which is pretty incredible!

How was October for you?
I hope you've all had a great month!
