My Month In Photos | April 2018

How are we already heading into May? This year has suddenly started to steam roll away but I'm certainly not complaining because the arrival of sunshine and Spring blossom has really raised my spirits this month! April has been another busy month for me and I'm not going to lie, it's also been pretty stressful at times. I've struggled a bit with my health which has meant that I haven't been feeling that great but I'm glad that, for the most part, I've managed to stick my plans and enjoy life a little too.

Easter Sunday was enjoyed at home with a slap up vegan roast!

I made it to my first Vegan Nights event in London which was so much fun and
I got to meet up with fellow vegan blogging babes Jess & Anjuli

I finally made it to Urban Jungle Suffolk which was incredible.

And we stopped off for a walk along the beach in Southwold afterwards!

On our way home we made a point of stopping off in Aldeburgh for some
yummy vegan hot dogs from the amazing Delphine's Diner

You can watch my vlog from this epic Suffolk day out here

I added a new plant to my collection and made a first time visit to the wonderful
Poplar Nurseries in Essex which is another great garden centre with a vegan menu.

Harlow Garden Centre have also upped their house plant game recently!

I discovered Sainsbury's new outdoor living range and decided I needed it all!

I enjoyed a lovely, although very foggy, day out to Knebworth House with my
best friend and her little girl dinosaur hunting. We always have the best days out together!

The sun finally came out a lot which meant the hot tub was back in action.

Byron launched their new vegan options and I was lucky enough to be invited
along to the launch event to try them out for myself.

I also got to hang out with these babes! Anjuli, Luisa & Kitty

I finally got my hands on one of the new Goodfella's vegan pizzas!

My gorgeous boy Zen paid a visit to the Super Vet's for a knee operation.
He's still recovering, and it's a long road ahead, but so far so good.

I attended Kinship Creative's Kinship Gatherings event where life coach Emily Hodge
gave a talk on how to lead a more gentle and creative life. It was a really lovely
workshop and great to network with other local creative Essex women.

I treated myself to a new gorgeous embroidered maxi dress from Jigsaw

I faced some fears and took part in my first ever public speaking event!

The gorgeous Common Room where the event took place

I'm also holding my first ever creative journalling workshop there in May too!

I couldn't resist placing an order for my own personalised name necklace from Finest Imaginary

With our Summer holidays just around the corner I've been putting some looks together for my trips

Throughout April I've been taking part in the #myhousethismonth Instagram challenge
and posting a photo a day from inside my house. It's been a lot of fun!

I hope you've all had great April and are looking forward to Summer!

Let me know what you've all been up to!
