The Vegan Kind Beauty Box November 2017

This month has felt like a real treat as not only was it The Vegan Kind's special 4 year anniversary lifestyle box, but it was also time for their final Beauty Box of 2017. Getting one of their boxes through my door is a big enough treat so when it's two boxes at the same time and in one month it really does feel like Christmas has come early!

So lets take a peek at what was included in the TVK Beauty Box...

Maggie Anne Gel Effect Nail Varnish (£10.50)

Maggie Anne is a totally new brand to me but one that I am really happy to have been introduced to as finding vegan and cruelty free nail varnishes can at times feel like a real headache. The brand pride themselves on the fact that their nail varnishes are toxin free, cruelty free and vegan friendly. I couldn't wait to try this nail varnish out and when I did I was so impressed by how quickly it dried. I also love the colour shade 'Suzie' which just so happens to be the perfect festive shade for this season. It also has a slight shimmer to it which looked so nice once applied to my nails.

Noughty To The Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment (£8.99)

It's as if TVK read my mind with this product as I have been suffering from really dry hair lately and I've actually been thinking about buying myself some kind of deep moisturising product to help it. If you didn't already know, Noughty products are 97% natural and the full range of products are vegan friendly and of course cruelty free. Also, as well as being able to buy their products online they are also exclusively available at my favourite shop for cruelty free toiletries - Superdrug! I'm saving this for when I have a pamper session at home so keep an eye on my social media for an update on how I found it worked on my hair.

Dr Botanicals Tropical Invigorating Cream (39.99)

Dr Botanicals are a fully natural and vegan skincare brand who believe in a more humane and caring world. If only more brands were like them! Just like me, they believe in plant power and this invigorating cream contains elderflower, chamomile flower extract and tiare flower extract, all of which  work to heal and nourish our skin. Ever since this box arrived I have been using this cream on my face morning and night and I am in love with it. I really like the thick consistency of the cream which feels super moisturising on my skin and the delicate scent is also really nice. It's left my skin feeling really soft and well hydrated after using and some little dry patches which I have been struggling with have pretty much cleared up. This really does feel like such a high quality product and I feel so lucky that it was included in this box!

FRUU Skincare Tinted Mulberry Lipbalm (£4.99)

Made from coconut oil, mango butter, banana extract and aloe vera, these tinted lip balms have a really lovely buttery texture and a light pop of colour. I do love the colder months but one thing that always annoys me is how dry and cracked my lips become. It's definitely the time of year where I find myself reaching for a lip balm more than ever so this arrived at the perfect time for me.

Bellapierre Excite Shimmer Powder (£12.99)

Another new brand to me, Bellapierre are a natural mineral makeup company and their shimmer powders are the perfect product to add some sparkle to your makeup routine this season. I'm quite amazed by just how versatile their shimmer powders are in that they can be used as a highlighter, eye shadow, blusher, eye liner, lip colour, bronzer and even in nail polish! I received the shade 'Excite" which is a beautiful white/silvery colour with a whole load of sparkle. A photo couldn't quite capture it so I've included a little video so you can see it in its full glory!

Box cost: £15.00 (+ £3.15 pp)

Box value: £77.46

The value of this TVK Beauty Box is just quite astounding! All of the products included are of such  a high quality and all are full size items making it an absolute bargain. It's always so great to be introduced to new brands and products that I wouldn't usually pickup myself. It's often how I find so many of my holy grail beauty products too! My favourite item from this box would have to be the Dr Botanicals cream as it's so quickly become a 'can't live without' product for me.

Did you get this box this month!? If so what was your favourite product?

If you like the look of this box and want to sign up to it yourself then you can do so here!

I also think this would make a great Christmas present for someone for 2018 as what could be better than receiving cruelty free and vegan beauty treats to your doorstep every three months!?

  1. I keep hearing so many good things about those Noughty products! Their packaging is so cute as well, plus I love that it's 97 % natural - that's amazing! I'm really not happy with my current hair products, so I think I'm going to give Noughty a whirl next xx
