Saturated Colour Haul

You may remember a couple of weeks ago that I went along to a beauty blogger event in Essex hosted by the cruelty free brand Saturated Colour. One of the perks of attending this event was that we got to take away a little selection of products with us which included a mini Lip Vinyl, a LIPSstick and one of their new releases the MultiTasker

I couldn't wait to try all of these products and share them with you all on the blog!

I was really intrigued by the new MultiTasker product which, as it's name would suggest, can be used on multiple areas including your eyes, lips, eyebrows, face and body. This pencil is available in 20 different shades and it provides a really nice soft application of  pigmented colour to your desired area.

One of the things that really appeals to me about this product is that it enables you to match your eye and lip colour perfectly which is something i've not always been able to achieve in the past.

I was gifted the dark navy shade which i've found works really well on my top eyelids as a burst of colour against my dark brown eyes. It has in fact prompted me to start wearing more unusual colours on my eyes and experiment with different blues. Despite it being currently fashionable to wear these kinds of colours on your lips, i'm personally not overly daring when it comes to lip colours! If I had the choice I would probably go for the more nude/taupe colours as I could see myself getting better use out of them for both my eyes and lips combined. It's great that there are so many shades to choose from within the MultiTasker range as there's something for everyone.

The MultiTasker is priced at a very reasonable £3.50 which I personally feel is great value for a product like this which offers a multi purpose.

After initially trying the Lip Vinyl product a few months ago I was really keen to try one of Saturated Colours LIPSsticks and I was therefore really excited to find one of them in my goodie bag. I was also pleased to find that i'd been gifted a brand new shade - 1st Base.

The LIPSsticks collection includes 12 fashion forward colours to choose from and consists of a moisture enriched formula which is great for those of us like me who suffer with dry lips. I find that more often than not a lipstick can dry out my lips even more than usual and doesn't look pretty so I was looking forward to seeing how this product differed from others I've tried.

In the past I tend to go for light and nude coloured lipsticks or, if i'm going out for an occasion, I will occasionally wear a bright red/orange lip colour. This 1st Base shade is a totally new shade for me as it's predominantly brown with some pink undertones, but it's one i've really enjoyed wearing, especially for a more distinctive daytime look.

I really love the satin finish formula to this LIPSstick which makes it silky smooth when applying. If you buy a lipstick with a similar finish to this there is also the option of using one of Saturated Colour's Make Me Matte lipstick mattifiers to take away the shine. Personally, I really like the shine and the extra dimension that adds, but it's good to know there's a product out there which can change this.

One of my favourite things about this LIPSstick is its creaminess which means that it's really comfortable to wear and keeps your pout feeling soft and smooth all day. It also has some great staying power and longevity meaning the colour lasts.

The LIPSsticks are another one of Saturated Colour's vegan friendly options.

I am already a huge fan of Saturated Colour's Lip Vinyl's and i've been so impressed in the past by their staying power and vibrancy. This Magnetic Melon shade had been on my wish list so I was really happy to find it included in my goodie bag. It's also the colour I chose to try on and wear during the beauty blogger event!

These are by far my most favourite liquid lipsticks I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. They're really beautiful we wear alone or alongside the matching LIPSstick. I also love how they are so build-able and the more you add to your lips the more rich and vibrant they become, making them perfect for day time or evening wear. And the best thing is.... They're another vegan friendly option!

It's been so great to get to know this brand a little better and try out some totally new products for the first time. I absolutely love it when you find a really good quality makeup brand who share your ethics too. It's also nice to be able to support a new small brand like this and buy products which have been created in the UK (Essex in fact!).

If you haven't tried out anything from Saturated Colour yet then I definitely recommend browsing their online shop and exploring all of their products. As mentioned above, all of the products are cruelty free and all the vegan friendly options are labelled clearly on their website.

Have you tried anything from Saturated Colour yet? What's your favourite product?
I'd love to hear so comment below!

Happy shopping! :-)
